SCHOOL OF COMPUTER STUDIES-PG  School of Computer Studies (PG) is one of the pioneer department started in the year 1986. Since then, under the constant support from the management, it has grown and has become one of the prime Departments in the College. Under its roof are well qualified, dyanmic, enthusiastic and experienced teaching and non-teaching staff. There are close to 200 students who continuously gain knowledge and skills in the three PG courses namely M.Sc.Software Systems (5 years integrated course), M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. Computer Communication. The Department has been constantly upgrading the syllabi for the benefit of students and focuses its attention on the overall development of the students through various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The Department organizes Seminars, Workshops, Conferences and Technical Sessions, which enable the students to equip themselves with the latest trends in the IT industry. The Department also focuses on developing the Soft Skills of the students, which would help them develop their personality, communication, leadership quality, interpersonal relations, attitude, group dynamics, etc. The Department organizes inter-collegiate and inter-departmental events such as Compufest, Grist and Infomatix that helps the students gain knowledge and develop their involvement and participation. The Department is also equipped with state-of-the-art lab facilities and spacious classrooms, which facilitates a healthy teaching-learning process.
